I may have missed this, but... Why don't the sentinels recognize Shaw as a mutant?

Having a bit of a dispute over the last page...
Did Shaw withdraw the Sentinels from battle because of Storm’s hurricane? That’s the way I read it.

Hey---I just had a thought that might cause me to redraw a panel that's already done. Can the Vision "carry" people and/or objects thru walls etc when he's "transparent"? Kitty can, but I don't remember about the Vision.

Oooo... nice looking Sentinels -seem to lack the former weak point for the head/neck area.
I have a theory too -will only say "I have a bad feeling about this..."

I can't remember seeing a panel where the Vision made something / someone else intangible.

I have never seen this myself. Doesn't mean it hasn't happened just that I have only ever seen the Vision directly affect his own tangibility.

Me either. He did make the Absorbing man intangible in Avengers# 184, but the Absorbing man was using his own power on the Vision at the time...

I read that as they could no longer target them, effectively blinding (or perhaps scattering) their signal.
