Andrew, i can remember Bradley Walsh is Graham, but i
can`t remember the young male and female companions. But
i can name Rose, Martha, Donna, Mickey, Bill, Captain
Jack, Clara, Rory and Amy off the top of my head without
cheating.

Glad it's not just me, Bill. The name 'Graham' came to me eventually but I still can't recall the names of the other two. I would have been horrified, back in the day, if I'd forgotten the names of Nyssa, Adric and Tegan in the gap between Logopolis and Castrovalva.

I won't say much since there's no spoilers tag, but I loved the season premiere last night.  First time a TV show has surprised me enough to say, "Oh shit!" out loud in a long time.  Last season reminded me a lot of season 1 of NuWho.  This is already reminding me of Tennant's run, which is a good thing.

Seeing there was some kind of marathon last night I decided to give the latest Doctor another look—and realized I had landed on one of the two episodes I’d already seen!

Q to American audiences: how are you making out with Jodi Whittaker’s accent?

I've had no problem understanding Jodie's accent.

My 13 year old son "loves the way she talks."

I don’t have to turn on the Closed Captioning like I did during Peter
Capaldi’s first season.

——

I had accidentally been slightly spoiled by my news feed and still
managed to be surprised.

Jodi Whittaker's accent does not bother me at all.

How long before we can/should discuss spoilers? Because I've got a theory about the big reveal at the end of the episode, and I'd rather not use inviso text.

Byron should be able to edit the thread title to add a SPOILER tag.

Beware of speculation that could BECOME spoilers!

I tried to watch the  New year's episode and ended up groaning and flipping to something else as I recognized each cliche moment... flipped back again, repeat groan and fleeing... it is part one of two and though the block listed was one hour it went an hour and a half. Just a mess. I'm not sure I care enough now to find out who the baddies are going to turn out to be... I thought maybe some connection to Omega, but this a pretty poor start to a season for an old viewer, though new viewers might find it great fun. Too much Tennant and running about.

+++++++++++++++++++++
Then I'll hold off until after part 2 airs to go into detail, but my theory is that its not a new one.
