I'm sorry to say that that's some BAD plastic surgery on display....if I were a fan of the show it probably would have been off-putting enough for me to stay away from this.

Not only does Helen Hunt's plastic surgery make her look weird (if she had any surgery, I am obliged by the morality police to acknowledge) it makes her look older than she is.

I think I only watched the show first-run because it was sandwiched between or around Seinfeld and Friends (which MAY was linked to, primarily via Ursula/Phoebe). I don't remember any 'hook' or overwhelming appeal to the series that would have me yearning to find out what's going on with these characters 20 years later.

I liked the first show a lot, and I appreciate it better
now that I am older. It's been popping up in repeats
lately, and the chemistry between Hunt and Reiser is
irrisistable.

I'm looking forward to the new show , particularly after
this article on Helen Hunt from the LA Times:

Los Angeles Times

The hook was the chemistry between the two probably one of the most believable couples on tv.  I watched it pretty regularly till around the marriage problems popped up second to last season I think.  Definitely had on the best theme songs for a show ever... the show kinda got shuffled around as Friends/ Seinfeld became the powerhouses think it was airing on Tuesdays at the end.

Since I have no idea what Spectre vision is unless they release it on other platforms I'm gonna miss it.

And I'm old enough to remember Paul Reiser in My two Dads which is why I probably started to watch it then got a major crush on Helen Hunt.

It just is weird to me of all shows to bring back this one I'm not totally surprised but its not a well known show.  Mad About You was to Friends much like Night Court was to Cheers the little forgotten brother that had common actors and some minor crossovers.

Kelsey Grammer has been pushing for a return to Frasier as well.

I've read about that. But it started going south once Niles and Daphne got together. And without John Mahoney, I'm not feeling it.
