Made it fairly clear in an interview I heard that she wouldn't be. Seemed more interested in UK politics and promoting her book.

@Leigh:
Oh, and anyone else! Out of curiosity, how interested are Americans in British politics?
Rightly or wrongly, we seem to think over the pond that our American cousins are pretty insular about such matters, but I seem to keep seeing comments by American politicians, writers, actors etc about British politics and politicians.
(Mods/JB if this is a different topic, or could cause thread drift, please delete/move as you feel appropriate).

In Canada, we sort of straddle the British and American cultures. Frankly, the British political situation is just as messed up as America. Not that the current political status in Canada is good, either.

I imagine a whole bunch of politicians, Democrat and Republican, believe they could handily beat Trump in 2020. The trick would be to win the party nomination. If Biden continues to look weak against Sanders and Warren, Hilary would surely jump in the fray. What else does she have to do with her life other than speeches and book tours?

I can't imagine any circumstance in which Clinton would win the nomination. I think the prevailing view of most Democrats is that her poor campaign strategy, personal baggage and lack of charisma caused her to lose to a candidate who should have been easy to defeat, and few are willing to give her a second chance to try again. Beyond the specifics about Clinton's weaknesses as a candidate, it's been fifty years since either major party gave a defeated Presidential nominee a second chance, and given the changes in the way people view defeated candidates, I think it's unlikely to ever happen again.

She's slick and shrewd. If she gets into the game, she's going to come in late, as the savior of the Democratic party and skip all the preliminary stuff she's already done twice. She knows her fanbase and influence and gets reminded daily.
