That is a good run.

St. Elsewhere remains in my Top 5 of favourite TV series.

Awesome Mr. Lloyd has lived so long.

St. Elsewhere is one of the greats! Greg, I would also put it in my top 5. Its a shame that it is largely forgotten. I keep hoping it turns up on one of the classic TV channels (or streaming services).

Mr. Lloyd has a long and distinguished career, and I'm very happy to hear he is still with us.

Re: St. Elsewhere, I recently had the unpleasant experience of recommending the show to a friend who watched a bit of it on Netflix and pronounced it, "So-o-o-o dated!!" She could not endure the pacing of 80's television, so she watched a couple of episodes from the beginning of the show, and then skipped to the, as she called it, "famous" ending. She smiled, absolutely delighted with herself, and said, "There! All done! I've seen everything from the show that needs to be seen!"

I told her that she had not, and pointed out for example, that the rapist storyline (which she knew nothing about) had repercussions lasting years, continuing on into the afterlife. When she asked how, I said she'd never know, would she?

Young people today. I swear to God...

One problem: For me its a tossup between ST. ELSEWHERE and the original ROSEANNE for worst series finale.

Born just after the outbreak of WW1, and still with us!

Happy Birthday, Mr LLoyd.
