Wow, mind blown indeed!! It's horrible to think of Shaw, a mutant himself, manipulating mutant-hating forces for his own ends. ••• Did the X-Men movies bother to address this after casting Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask?

No, not really. Trask was played as more of a traditional "James Bond villain" type in that film, I thought. :(

Just catching up on issue #6. Wow!
And I cannot wait for Wonder Man! Since I was lucky
enough to know he was coming, I found myself looking for
him as I was catching up today :-)

Incredible page! Its great to see the Avengers, but I love seeing furry Beast in
this context. He'll always be a member of X-Men to me!
It's so cool to see post Dark Phoenix stories being mentioned in what is a
different timeline. Since Jean didn't die, things may have played out differently
than we saw in the original stories. Even with Wolverine and Nightcrawler
going to Canada on their own, they are not carrying the grief of Jean's death.
And Scott staying in the group create a different dynamic than what we saw
after he left.

After seeing the page with the Avengers, I printed it off and started inking it.
I am not an artist. At all. I have no training, I have no eye for being able to look at something and create a drawing that looks like what I am looking at.
But I saw that page and just was hit by an overwhelming sense of 'I need to do this'. I have no idea why. I will destroy it, I know I will, but I just had to do it because it was that good. It stirred something in me.
This has never happened before.

The hard call to go after Magneto only is something I have not seen in comics much. Very interesting.
