Sunday, 10/13

  • Panthers at Buccaneers
  • Bengals at Ravens - Browns beat 'em...
  • Seahawks at Browns
  • Saints at Jaguars
  • Texans at Chiefs (MATT DISAGREES!!)  I think they bounce back after Indy.  BUT - the Texans know Indy pretty well, and they may have excellent intel now on how to beat these guys.
  • Redskins at Dolphins
  • Eagles at Vikings
  • Falcons at Cardinals - BIRD FIGHT!  Falcons find someone to take their frustrations out on.
  • 49ers at Rams (MATT DISAGREES!!) - The 49ers are 4-0.  Matt and I have disagreed 3 times, all ending with me the victor.  The only time we agreed, we both lost.  I like this and I hope it continues.
  • Titans at Broncos
  • Cowboys at Jets
  • Steelers at Chargers - MAYBE at home.  Defense is improving.  But Pittsburgh is down to "First season ticket holder to make it to the sideline gets to be QB."

Monday, 10/14

  • Lions at Packers - I predict this game rocks.  Packers 24 Lions 16, but three lead changes

Early games:

Sunday, 10/13

  • Panthers at Buccaneers - Right
  • Bengals at Ravens - Right
  • Seahawks at Browns - Right
  • Saints at Jaguars - Right
  • Texans at Chiefs - RIGHT!  HAGERMAN WRONG!!!  I had a feeling...
  • Redskins at Dolphins - Right.  The Dolphins win the Tua Bowl.
  • Eagles at Vikings - RIGHT!  Except for one quarter, the Vikes absolutely dominated the Eagles.  4-2 on the season.  I'll take it!  SKOL!!!!
8-0 and 1-0 v Hagerman.  Great Sunday so far!

Is anyone else done picking the Dolphins the rest of the season? They threw that game so blatantly it wasn't even funny.

Late games:

  • Falcons at Cardinals -Wrong.  The Falcons are all sorts of bad on defense and, oh by the way, they can't run the ball. Ugly.
  • 49ers at Rams - WRONG.  HAGERMAN RIGHT.  The Rams have lost three in a row for the first time under McVay.  At one point in the third quarter, Goff had just 44 yards.  Something is not right with this team on either side of the ball.
  • Titans at Broncos - Right
  • Cowboys at Jets - Wrong.  Cowboys beat up on three bad teams to start the season and people were thinking playoff bound and maybe 1st round bye.  Now the Giants are just one game back and the whole NFC East looks incredibly weak.
A not so great 1-3 for a total of 9-3 with two to go.  Hagerman tied it up at 1-1 with no more disagreements left.

Hell yes!  I am very surprised Dallas and Philly aren't scary-good.  But they aren't even very close.

9-4 so far thanks to KC's papier mache' D, the Falcon's ineptitude everywhere you look, the Jets' momentary return to 1969 and LA's too late charge back.

Great game.  GB never lead until :00 on the clock.  Several balls should have been caught on both sides but the sure TD ball that was dropped by the Lions and became just a FG surely haunts them.

I can't do awards right now because I am having insomnia which might not make sense but trust me.  Anyway, next week's thread is ready.

A Chargers loss and a Packers win makes me 10-4 on the week and I split with Hagerman 1-1.  For the season, I'm 55-36-1 and 10-9 v Hagerman.
