On the one hand, that was some damn great Thursday Night Drama.  On the other, I lost.

Russell Wilson is off to one fantastic start.  Incredibly elusive, pinpoint throws short and long, a real threat to run.   How do you defend against that?

Patriots vs. Redskins is now all but guaranteed to be a shutout. Washington is starting Colt McCoy.

Sunday, 10/6

  • Jaguars at Panthers - CAT FIGHT!
  • Cardinals at Bengals
  • Falcons at Texans
  • Buccaneers at Saints - I think this one is going to be a corker.  Saints 32, Bucs 30
  • Vikings at Giants - A good game for the Vikings to get well.
  • Bears at Raiders
  • Jets at Eagles - I hate these teams.  Whoever I pick loses.
  • Ravens at Steelers - This is also my Potential Tie Pick
  • Bills at Titans - Upset special?
  • Patriots at Redskins - The Patriots are really in a league by themselves - a league where they play the worst teams in the NFL every week
  • Broncos at Chargers
  • Packers at Cowboys
  • Colts at Chiefs - If the Colts execute, this could be a back-and-forth.  But it's more likely to be a boring rout.

Monday, 10/7

  • Browns at 49ers - Who knows?

Sunday, 10/6

  • Jaguars at Panthers
  • Cardinals at Bengals
  • Falcons at Texans
  • Buccaneers at Saints - DISAGREE!!! This Saints team is due for a loss during the Brees-less weeks and the Bucs are as good a team as any to hand it to them.
  • Vikings at Giants
  • Bears at Raiders
  • Jets at Eagles - DISAGREE!!!  This Jets team is awful
  • Ravens at Steelers
  • Bills at Titans
  • Patriots at Redskins
  • Broncos at Chargers
  • Packers at Cowboys
  • Colts at Chiefs

Monday, 10/7

  • Browns at 49ers - DISAGREE!!!  I still don't know who either of these teams are, so I'm opting to have a MNF disagree.
Total of four disagreements and I'm already up 1!

That Jets pick may have been my worst ever.  I had caught up for the week but now I'm down one again.

Early errors ALMOST averted by the Steelers, but an excellent forced fumble on OT by the Ravens helps them close the deal.

Day games:

  • Jaguars at Panthers - Right
  • Cardinals at Bengals - Wrong
  • Falcons at Texans - Right.  The Falcons can't run the ball and their defense is terrible.  Ugly season for the dirty birds.
  • Buccaneers at Saints - WRONG. HAGERMAN RIGHT.
  • Vikings at Giants  - Right.  Nice get right game for the Vikes.
  • Bears at Raiders - Wrong.  Woof.  Bad day in jolly ol' England for da Bears.
  • Jets at Eagles - RIGHT!!  HAGERMAN WRONG!! As I said, this Jets team is awful
  • Ravens at Steelers - Wrong.  Feeling like a lost season for the Steelers.
  • Bills at Titans - Right
  • Patriots at Redskins - Right
  • Broncos at Chargers - Wrong.  Terrible performance by the Bolts.  Just embarrassing.
  • Packers at Cowboys - Wrong.  Same could be said about the Cowboys.  Although they made it interesting toward the end, they were mistake prone and ineffective for three quarters.
7-6 with two to go.  2-1 v Hagerman with a MNF disagree left to play.

Doug Centers is the only one to predict the Raiders would beat the Bears in Merrie Olde England, and Allan Summerall (AGAIN!) was the only one to see the Broncos finally winning a game against the Chargers, in L.A.

Good work, guys.  I'm going to have to go back to the warehouses and get more of these.

And we got Charlie Brown'd by the Colts!  They went into Arrowhead (or whatever it's called now) and bested one of the best teams in the AFC.  Wow.
