Bob Odenkirk let slip this week in an interview that it was already filmed.  How the hell they managed to do that with zero leaks is amazing.

AMC is basically a network with two shows: Breaking Bad and Walking Dead. We'll be getting prequels and sequels and sidequels to BB forever.

And Better Call Saul May be a spin-off, but it’s the best show (not) on TV right now.

Very excited about this. Written and directed by Vince Gilligan. By all accounts this was made because Gilligan wanted to explore Jesse’s fate, post-BREAKING BAD, rather than it being a case of AMC/Sony cashing in on the beloved show. I have faith in Gilligan and his people that this will be a worthwhile epilogue to the series.

Why is the trailer Netflix instead of AMC? Is this an international rights or did Netflix acquire BB?

This movie will available exclusively on Netflix. I presume AMC/Sony made a deal with them to as to help Netflix out with subscriptions. I wouldn’t be surprised if it aired on AMC, at some point down the road.

And I hope and pray it gets a Blu-Ray release with extras, just so I can have all of BREAKING BAD/BETTER CALL SAUL on physical media, before the Streaming Wars fully take hold.

Looking to your thoughts on the movie Greg I doubt it will get a Blu-Ray tho if they do they may fold into a complete set.  Physical Media seems to be going away.

I guess its fitting it ended up on Netflix many people like me discovered BB later into run and binged till I got the final season airing on AMC.

Jesse wasn't a favorite of mine it should be interesting to see how he finishes up if he finishes up because this may just be the beginning of more stories.  Jesse on the run may be a worst fate than the prison. I guess the real question is did Walt die at the end of BB? A gun shot in the side where there's no major organs and police are on scene as we fade to black.
