Btw Has the antagonist in that splash appeared before?

That’s a matter of interpretation.

Thanks for the confirmation, JB. ;-)

I hope that people will refrain from sharing their guesses.

Oh, and I'm still not speaking to all of the forum members who kept the news that X-MEN ELSEWHEN was being published here from me. I'm just typing my thoughts out as a form of therapy...

Jonathan: Very curious what characters this issue will feature created by Marv Wolfman and Keith Pollard???

I should probably be able to figure it out...

Nathan: I just put it together...

This is gonna be awesome

.......................

Yeah I think I've worked out some of this now and yes it will be awesome

Originally I planned to put the Wolfman/Pollard credit on the last page, but since I’d done that with the Wein/Cockrum dedication in the first issue, I decided to go with a more conventional approach—and maybe give you all something to ponder.

I LOVE this page.

Can I say that you are doing one of your best work with X-Men Elsewhen, JB? For me, all periods combined.

I admire all your productions past and present (X-Men, Next-men, FF, AF ...), but with this story, there is a sense of romantic and organic love for these characters.

(I hope this sentence makes sense for an anglophone ...)

Once again, thank you for the gift you give us with this post on your forum. And I still hope it can be published as a book someday - this treasure deserves a showcase, because it's just one of the best X-Men stories in almost 40 years.

Staggering splash page!

I'm really enjoying the dense back musculature of Wolverine and Colossus, and find myself lingering on the back of Logan's mask. Plenty of artists draw a straight line or a curve following the base of the skull. I don't recall seeing that slightly undulating design before, neato!
