Just like Doug's "Numbers" songs, give me your top three.

Mine, in alphabetical order:

1. Black Sunshine - White Zombie
2. Crystal Blue Persuasion - Tommy James and the Shondells
3. White Wedding - Billy Idol

I'll probably regret posting so early as other songs will inevitably come to me later, but for now...

1. Famous Blue Raincoat- Leonard Cohen, specifically the version sung by Tori Amos on the tribute album, "Tower of Song"
2. Raspberry Beret- Prince
3. Scarlet Ribbons- Evelyn Danzig & Jack Segal, specifically the version sung by Sinead O'Connor on her album "Am I Not Your Girl?"

“Colors” isn’t a color, btw.

Luckily that leaves Steve with a top three!

Is 'rainbow' a colour, would you say?

I wondered that myself, Peter... I'm looking forward to hearing where the officials come down on that question.

I'd argue that it would not count when discussing the phenomenon itself, such as positing what may or may not exist depending upon where one finds oneself in relation to one in space, but it would be applicable when used as an adjective, say, describing a type of stew, for instance... :-)

You are correct, Brian, but so far, it is the only one complying with the topic title.

White Room- Cream  (hey the band is a color too)

For purposes of this, lets disregard `Rainbow' as a color. :)

(And if I had made this a top 5, the songs that would have filled my 4 and 5 slots have already been mentioned.)
