At first thought it seemed fairly easy for me, but when I started to dig deeper, man did it get tough!

So, what are your favorite 3 songs with a number in the title?

The number may be spelled out, but must be a number and not, for example, "once, twice..."

Good luck!

There are more than I thought!

Here's mine:

Waltz #2 (XO) by Elliott Smith
One Vision by Queen
9 to 5 by Dolly Parton

Edited because I changed my mind on one of them...

I came up with a list of about a dozen or so songs that could fit here, but at the end of the day, I have to go with a favorite from childhood...

Figure Eight- Schoolhouse Rock, sung by Blossom Dearie

Paul Hardcastle is the forgotten man of the 80s. Great choice!

That's one of your three favourite songs with a number in the title? Really?

After looking through my iTunes list I found I have only a few songs that start with numbers. I didn't do a check on songs that had numbers further down, so the list may change under that criteria. However, I'm pretty happy with this list as all three are cracking songs.

1959 - The Sisters of Mercy
1963 - New Order
15 years - The Levellers

As an early teen I listened to Revolution 9 over and over on the LP trying to find some hidden meaning. That repeating number is branded into my brain, arrggh!

Some great choices, that's what makes it a challenge. I don't recall hearing that Levellers song before, me likey, it's just my speed!
