This just sums up Trump's base. People working against their own economic self-interest (buying overpriced straws) to enrich corporations because they think it screws over the other side.

The man doesn't look hale enough to worry so much about his longevity. I'd hardly be shocked to learn that -- inter alia! -- he's been ferociously lying about his health.

Hard to believe the same shrewd people who demand the abolition of affordable health care, oppose universal education, and support tax cuts that a bipartisan tax report highlighted in no uncertain terms would ultimately provide 83% of the benefits to the top 1% of incomes could fall for this.

The Republican party has gotten so far away from what it used to be that Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln wouldn't even recognize it today.
And I wouldn't vote for a Republican if they were running for dogcatcher right now.
My aunt and uncle just love Trump, and it baffles me why. They're not racists or rich, so I just don't get it.

They’re not rich, so they see him as “on their side”, as I noted. His biggest con job has been convincing “reg’lar folk” that he is one of them. You know. Vulgar, boorish, a bully, sexist and racist. Joe America!
