Finally watched the second season of The Tick and absolutely loved it. The two Superman the Movie jokes/references both made me laugh out loud. I felt like the second season was even better than the first and the show had really found its stride and it's a real shame that's it for the series (at least until it comes back again later with a new cast as this is its third incarnation) because although it parodied superheroes it did so it in a way that was chock full of love and affection for the genre. I feel like it's a victim of The Boys being another show focusing on making fun of superheroes, albeit in a way that's much more cynical and derisive as Garth Ennis hates superheroes whereas Ben Edlund always seemed to love and celebrate them while poking fun. At least the show ended in a way that wasn't a complete cliffhanger, at least not for the two main characters. Anyone else watch this?

Starting to think maybe The Boys wasn't the only reason this was cancelled based on the response here. Haha.

As an Amazon Prime series, there is likely to be little response from the majority. Streaming services are more a niche audience thing at best.

I am interested in the series,  but I don't have Amazon Prime.

Paul, I started a thread about Bosch, also exclusive to Amazon Prime's streaming service and it seemed to have several fans here. I mean, it didn't get the kind of response streaming shows that are more popular such as Stranger Things will likely get, but it did get a fairly decent response from fellow fans of the show. It's not just this forum either, haven't really seen many people talking about The Tick on Facebook or other places either. Lots of Good Omens talk, but nothing about The Tick.

Matt, it was actually quite good. I never saw the cartoon or the original live action series but was a fan of the comic and thought it did it justice.
