No problem. I have a limited amount of memory recall, and I seem to have filled it with minor comic book trivia. I wanted to recreate a John Buscema She-Hulk pose the other day, and wanted to look it up first, I think it was Avengers 286. I Googled it...it was Avengers 286.

I wonder if the "behind the scenes" material includes some scans of the Secret Origins annual original art that I sent to them for their Bronze Age Doom Patrol Omnibus? The Cartoon Art Museum's got about a dozen pages from that issue.

Ha, no, not a computer. Although, when I was in the Air Force, I was a computer guy by trade. Must have rubbed off more than I thought.
A-10 is what I use to get people to pronounce my name correctly. Most folks want to use a short A. During one of my assignments, I was A-10 or Warthog.
I was wondering about the behind the scenes material in the omnibus as well. Maybe some model sheets or penciled pages? Looking forward to seeing.

Wow, I can't believe its been over 15 years since that hit the stands! I was just turning 30!
I've moved to digital on most all of my purchases, but this would be such a fun read...provided my back doesn't go out!

I own 3 pages from that issue — including 2 pages of the original team’s origin and death... and the last page (which I believe features JB! It looks like him!)
I also own one of the Doom Patrol Index covers (the cover with the Titans looking at a Doom Patrol image on a giant computer screen).
I’d contribute scans for these reprints... but I have no idea how that process works?? How do people know when DC is looking for original art scans for these editions??

Outside of Jack Kirby, there is more John Byrne work printed in omnibus form than any other comic book artist. There is obviously a huge demand. I'm definitely getting this one too when it comes out next month.

Fascinated by the apparent demand for work that falls deep inside “his old stuff was better” territory. Proof again, I suppose, that “old stuff” is measured on a sliding scale. (I found a recent review of OMAC that praised it with great praise, a sharp contrast to when it was released—tho even in the midst of a positive commentary the “reviewer” had to point out my weakness: I draw women’s faces badly, apparently.)

Oh yeah we all know that. You draw the most hideous women ever. OMAC was and still is one of your best work altogether...

I think I’ve asked this before and do not remember the answer, but did we ever find out the origin of Rita’s powers from this run?
