The 3D model doesn't totally follow Giger's design. For example, Giger has vertical fins at the back on his designs.

Either way, it probably was for the best that it didn't get used. If only Giger had had a sporty Hot Wheels model hanging around instead of a pair of scissors, things might have been so much different.

I'll never understand why filmmakers do this. Why approach HR Giger when there are literally decades of Batmobile designs to choose from in 1000s of comicbooks.

They did the same with Judge Dredd and asked Versacci to design the uniform. Of course, his version was NOTHING like Judge Dredd!

Batman wouldn't use a vehicle with guns like those, and I agree with the post right above mine, wholeheartedly.

Take off or reposition the weapons, and give it to the X-Men.
