Of course... Because I'm a little bit deaf you know.

I would hear "Marvel Top Franchise".

The truth is I read the first post days ago and when I decided to answer I forgot the team thing.

I would say X-Men... then Fantastic Four of course.

The X-Men HAVE been successful though. Marvel just doesn't (or didn't) own them. The MCU probably wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the first two X-Men movies...

It's true. And I remember the critics were good.

That doesn't mean they were faithful adaptations but that was not the case with any Fantastic Four movie...

Not knowing the numbers and being a very casual reader at the time, I'd have gone for the FF simply because they seemed like the major players at the time.

X-Men. Because in the far future of 2019, everyone would be reading comics of course, and X-Men comics in particular.

I would have guessed X-MEN because (like FANTASTIC FOUR) the team all have the same "origin." There was only one supra-realistic element: genetic mutation causes powers.

A team film popular with "civilians" featuring a patriotic super-solider, a radioactive monster, a tech hero, AND a thunder god? It would have that this would be a bridge too far for general audiences.

I'm so glad I was proven wrong.
