It seems like with every passing day, it’s getting closer to reality.

Also, “Full bald eagle.”

Love how Mike is just stumbling his way into success.

Is Richard actually going to accidentally become president?

Found myself wondering that—altho it would take some serious compression!

They seem to be taking a lot of inspiration from actual event. I loved the Assange-esque asylum at the Finnish embassy. They jammed lots of real life reference into this last episode.

Roller coaster of a finale.

I was expecting for Selina to end up as a Veep again, but this was more fitting. She got what she wanted at the expense of her legacy and by screwing over or alienating everyone who had supported her.

SUE! I was hoping they'd throw in one last joke about her not aging by having her show up at Selina's funeral looking the same.

Goodbye, Selina. Some pretty brilliant expositional dialog flying by. May have to watch the episode about eight times to catch all of it.

Enjoyed the end. Like you, Michael, I expected Selina to end up as Veep again, but enjoyed seeing her finally get ruthless and take the Presidency. Makes for a dark interpretation about US politics, but most likely a somewhat accurate one. The dubonnet lipstick that Gary had been carrying around all his life was hilarious.

I was glad she finally got it, but didn’t care for how she got it. Well, with regards to Gary, anyway. I guess everything else was just SOP. Some definite Trump allusions.

This was the least funny episode of the season. The funeral was the best part.

So, she was only in for one term. Apparently, Jonah actually got elected at some point since he was impeached. Nothing real surprising about the other 2 serving. Surprised Amy ended up with Bill.

Jonah actually got elected…

••

Just watched it again, and they don't actually say that. Only that he got impeached. Selina is identified as a "one term" President, which might mean she left office before her four years were up.

Would she be considered a “one term” president if she didn’t serve the full four years tho?
