Whoops. As far as I can tell online (i.e., a site which shall not be named), somebody at MIT came up with the term, alluding to the Greek mythological Daemon which operated in the background.

BTW, I read online that in episode 2, Nandor's ghost was actually speaking fluently in Farsi! Translation HERE

Kayvan Novak has Iranian roots, BTW.

I was pretty impressed with the FX for the ghosts, too.

I wondered about that!

Noticed a FRIENDS-like disregard for continuity in E4. Having established in E3 that he has forgotten his native tongue, Nandor is then able to read a letter from his parents in E4.

Yeah, others online have picked up on that, too. Some have posited that maybe he can still read the language well enough but not speak it. Meh.

Another thing that I wondered about - So Nandor apparently only checks his email once every 10 years or so. Email has only been in widespread use since the early 90's. So, he's read email...at most 3 times, ever?

"Have mercy on us, Colin Robinsons!"

I wasn't laughing out loud, but I still loved it. I have a higher-up that looks just like Colin and also drains the life out of everyone when he visits the office. Needless to say, Colin is my favorite character on the show.

Not having kept up on behind the scenes doings, I started to worry a bit about Colin!

This is the third episode in a row where I'm ahead of a bit a split-second before it actually happens, but I'm still delighted when it does (this time it was the Nandor's use of the plural).

I remain impressed with the SFX. They do just enough to make it all look seamless and stop just short of going overboard by trying to show off.

EDIT: Adding a shoutout to the makeup crew, also!

...

I second that Vinny.
The aging effects they used this last episode were well done and it didn't even have much screen time.

I was re-watching the pilot last night, and was struck by the Baron's impeccable makeup job*.

*also, his lack of genitals.
