Back from China and back to a normal schedule.  I'll have 3 weeks of comics to pick up, as well as these issues that hit the stands today:

  • CAPTAIN MARVEL #3 - I'm planning to see the movie tomorrow, and I've decided to continue following this series for now.
  • ARCHIE #703 - This is a quick read.  I'm curious to see what they do with Sabrina as Archie's girl friend.
  • SPIDER-MAN LIFE STORY #1 (OF 6) - This intrigues me.  I'm more interested to see what they do with the character in future issues (the 60's one in this first issue should be more of the norm).
  • FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #4 - I'm behind on this title.  I don't like it as much as the main Amazing Spider-Man title.

Avengers #17- I've liked the vampire storyline more than I thought I would.

Avengers No Road Home #6- Picked up the first 5 issues after the guys from my LCS finally convinced me that I would like the story. I do.

Captain Marvel #3- Still trying to find my footing with this book. It hasn't been bad but I haven't loved it.

Immortal Hulk #15- I believe we get Doc Sampson this issue.

Savage Sword of Conan #3- This may be the better Conan book from Marvel.

Thor #11- I'm ready for the War of the Realms to start.

Uncanny X-Men #14- Since the annual, I've looked forward to each issue of this book. Now this being current day Marvel and this being the X-Men, that feeling could change with one issue.

AMERICAN CARNAGE #5 - Last issue ended on a whopper of a cliffhanger!

DARK RED #1 and INVISIBLE KINGDOM #1 - Both new books that hopefully are as good as their solicits!

STRONGHOLD #2 - I liked the first issue but this will be the make or break to see if I see it through.

Avengers #17- I can't remember the last time I read a comic with Blade in it before he became an Avenger (which, I bet, isn't going to last long). I'm enjoying this.

Avengers No Road Home #6 - Yes, Conan shows up. And it works beautifully. And I'm hardly a big Conan fan.

Immortal Hulk #15 - Only slightly disappointed because I predicted the ending.

Spider-Man: Life Story #1 - One issue in and I'm LOVING this. It's JB's GENERATIONS, but it centers on Spider-Man instead of Superman and Batman. Chip Zdarsky keeps impressing me.

Got a pile of books waiting to be read but I've been in a "no pictures" mood for a few weeks now. But one of these days...

CRIMINAL #3
OUTPOST ZERO #8
BPRD DEVIL YOU KNOW #14
TEEN TITANS #28 (dang crossovers...)
AVENGERS #17
AVENGERS NO ROAD HOME #6
SPIDER-MAN LIFE STORY #1 - Buying this because I liked his Spectacular run. Hoping this will somewhat mirror the published material in the early issues rather than going completely off on its own, but we'll see how it goes.
THOR #11
