I wonder how big a company can get before it's too much to manage?

Well they got rid of Tony Sella right out of the gate - you likely wouldn’t know his name, but he has been there forever and is a real talent in marketing.  He defined Fox’s marketing and set a bold tone at a time when everyone played it safe.  Marketing creative doesn’t get a lot of attention nor respect, but there is an art to it and is quite effective when done well.  Sella mastered the form.

The bigger shock was the immediate dissolution of Fox 2000 - that’s a pretty fast move after Disney signaled they’d keep it.

I wonder what’s going on behind the scenes - how does Disney keep the identity of 20th Century Fox?

Like a lot of fans, I'm very much intrigued to see what Marvel Studios is able to do with the X-Men and Fantastic Four, going forward.  You just know they're not going to be extremely faithful to the original material, but anything has got to be better than the last 19 years of Fox films... right?

It would make sense for them to tackle and include FF first, I think. They successfully incorporated Spider-Man after two previous versions, and they may follow the same template.

X-Men is trickier. We have two films still to come out (if we include New Mutants) and whether I like them or not, they do have an established audience. I just hope they don't try and merge the universes in some way. That would be terrible.

I agree. Do a quality FF film first. Hell, do a Doctor Doom film first (why not?). Fewer characters and fewer bad films for everyone to forget about (if they haven't already).

X-Men...wait three years then start over. At least three years.
