I did a search and did not see this come up, so apologies if I missed it.

I,am in the middle of the 2nd season and find it quite entertaining!  A fun cast of characters and story line.  An interesting take on the afterlife!

THE GOOD PLACE is probably my favorite show on right now. Love how they’ve been able to take the concept in different directions while staying true to the characters.

When it first came out I had seen photos on ads but I had no idea what the show was about. When I started watching it, wow, was I surprised!

Hard to believe this is in the rearview, now, but satisfied that it closed out as one of the rare as-near-perfect-as-it-gets TV shows.  About the best use of fantasy to describe the human condition as I can think of, and the fact that it was wall-to-wall hilarious with some all-time best work from the cast is a major bonus.

Probably the first real contender to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy's throne for truly funny and deeply thoughtful genre programming.

Loved this show. The finale reminded me a lot of Sleeping in Light, the
Babylon 5 finale.

It stayed true to its characters throughout, & was a really touching send
off.
I loved how this show managed to reinvent itself each season without
losing its core sense of what it was.
I agree with Dave above & his comment re HHGTTG

I'm amazed that someone managed to get a show about philosophical ethics on a broadcast network in primetime for four seasons.  I'm more amazed at how many people watched.  I think the number of people who know the word 'deontology' has increased exponentially.

Janet always made me laugh and was by far my favorite character (odd to see the same actress appearing regularly in BARRY at the same time.)  They were never able to quite match S2's clever revelation regarding the true nature and mission of "The Good Place"  but the show remained entertaining and whimsically thought-provoking throughout.

I found the series finale surprising emotional. I got choked up several times. I guess the Good Place characters & series affected me more than I realized. Check out the first 3 seasons on Netflix.
