That particular cover reminds me of a deeply disturbing moment with a fan who asked for a sketch of “Hawkeye shooting Mockingbird with a dildo-arrow.”

No, I didn’t do it.

Here's a familiar cover of the series that omits Stan Lee from the background. Hm...

That wedding cover is interesting, all the characters are very Romita except for Gwen.

At the very least, those Goblin and Osborn panels are lifts from ASM # 40 and # 96-98. So, Romita and Kane.

Very interesting.  Of the "foreign" reprints that I've seen, most are just repurposed originals.  With this particular series it would be a curious thing to see it collected and translated to English.

I understand that the original CAPTAIN MARVEL also continued for many years in Brazil with new stories after Fawcett stopped publishing.  There were even stories where he teamed with the original HUMAN TORCH, another member of the anthology series' roster.

Here's part of an article from ALTER-EGO--

Here was the thread that started the discussion. Lots of comic pros were agog at the news: https://twitter.com/comickeys/status/1096924779213275136

A link by a poster to that Twitter feed leads to this site (in Spanish) that discusses the Mexican Spider-Man comics. You'll need to know Spanish, or use Google translate to read it:

They didn't do a very good job of filling in the UPC box for their reprint of FF #236 - Hawkeye looks terrible.
