A new comment:

“What an awesome collection of valuable and original art etc.,Yet he held onto it while begging fans to pay his back taxes.... Disgusting.”

Huh? I’ve heard and read some truly bizarre stories about myself over the years, but this one takes the biscuit. I have NEVER owed “back taxes”, so “begging fans” to pay them....

Where do they get this stuff?*

Can't see the video, but sounds like somebody thinks
you're Peter David.

I was thinking the same thing. David had a GoFundMe up a year or two ago saying he was in trouble for back taxes and asking for help. It's likely some rube confused him with JB.

Ah, well, now that is this has been sorted out, I’m sure a retraction will be forthcoming. That’s how the internet works, right?

I just watched the video.

I'm amazed by how much STUFF JB has. It really is a museum. (There could be, like, weekly tours of Stately Byrne Manor.)

I agree completely with what JB says about Wonder Woman. (Seeing the life-sized Gal Gadot/WW, I thought "well, I guess that means there's always company in the studio.")

A thought -- how often does one have to use a dust feather on all those statues and action figures? They must accumulate lots of dust.

So I watched the segment on YouTube with my wife tonight.  She knows my involvement with this site but doesn't know anything at all about comic creators, comic artists or, really, comic books in general or specific except what she likes via the movies.  Thought I'd take the time to introduce her to one of my friends via this opportunity.  When the segment started I remarked that she should feel lucky that I only have a single room (the MattCave) and not an entire basement.  She said "well, that's his office!" meaning a separate building/space.  To which I said "No.  That's the bottom floor of John's home.  I've been there.  Trust me."  Taken aback for a moment, she then said "OK.  Cool. You know, I've never minded your MattCave."

Married the right person!

For those wondering about the 'region-locked' video, SYFY has to do that with certain videos due to Fair Usage rights differing from country to country. We have been able to get legal to agree to let us 'unlock' this video so it should now be viewable to people outside the U.S. (please let me know if that's not the case).

Still not available to view in Australia.
