They’ve been very generous to me, and I doubt if I’ve done one tenth of what George has done.

(Not sure giving someone what they’re entitled to is “generosity” tho!)

JB,

Any interesting Perez stories (characters/convention/aborted series/storylines) you'd be willing to share?

A true legend . The days of his early Avengers work will be my best memory . I believe it was around his Squadron Supreme vs Avengers before Avengers 150 that I got hooked .

JB and George have been my all time favourites.

I never met George ( only JB and Neal) at last Toronto comicon in August.
I see he is coming to Niagara Falls . Will have to go.

I met George Perez at the Superman Festival in Metropolis IL a few years back. Oddly enough there was zero line and he was flirting with a rather attractive lady in her thirties or early forties (though nothing more than conversation). He was super friendly and signed my copy of Future Imperfect and was really sweet to my then three year old son. A few years later and there are long lines at that same Festival to see Amanda Connor and Jimmy Palmiotti. I waited in line for thirty minutes to get a copy of The Pro signed. She and Jimmy were also super nice. In the previous years there was never any lines for the likes of Chris Sprouse or Alex Ross or as I mentioned, the legendary Mr. Perez. I guess more people just caught on to it in the last year or two.

I think maybe I liked his Man-Wolf best of all. If I could've had more of something by George Perez that would probably be the one. :^)

The second stint on The Avengers was up there as well, and X-Men Annual #3, and I remember liking his Justice League and Firestorm a lot as well as New Teen Titans when he switched to DC.
