One of the great in comics. I hope he has a great (long!) retirement.

I always wish George the best. I've met him a handful of times and have always walked away feeling like we're best friends even though I know he has no idea who I am.

You could always tell that Mr. Perez cared by the quality of his work. He imbued the characters with some real life which is all you can ask for. If only we could literally wish him well.

Great artist and a great guy! I got to show him the Cyborg statue I made the last time I saw him. And I've never been disappointed with something he drew---or wrote!!

I wouldn't touch a book from DC until the day I saw the New Teen Titans on the stand. George Perez, along with JB, is one of just a handful of creators that forged the foundation of my lifelong love of comics. I wish Mr. Perez the best in his retirement and many years of happiness.

When I read his open letter I was very happy to see that he will make enough in royalties to retire and pay his medical expenses.

I certainly hope George has been smart with his money. Those kinds of worries no one needs at this end of the journey!

I wonder....
...considering how many times the TEEN TITANS characters he helped create (Raven, Cyborg, etc) are used in different mediums, I'm hopeful WB/DC has been generous with the royalties.
