Us poor Brits, having to wait 8-9 months to see it, with
promotions/toys etc teasing us the entire time!

Brian, if we didn't celebrate the anniversary on May the Fourth,  we would be missing the opportunity to make a pun out of it. ;-)

Bill, don't feel too bad. These days it seems most films, even those produced by American studios, get released abroad  before we get to see them in the States.

Matt, the MCU films coming out a week or so before the
U.S. in recent years, has made up for it a little bit!
But when you`re a kid, 8-9 months is an eternity!

It was horrendous!
Reading articles, so many magazines coming out - the Treasury editions, the making of specials, the poster magazines, the novelisation, the junior novelisation, Letraset transfer sets, etc etc etc

EVERYTHING except the bloody film itself.

For nearly 10% of my life!

Wars chew from our Boys Brigade tuck shop after they
finished with it!
