I did not know that! Wow...

Puts me in mind that the guys who designed Star Trek's sickbay beds--with their built-in diagnostic monitoring--were contacted by a group working to do the same thing. They noted that they were trying to stay way ahead of 1960s tech but even then it wasn't easy.

Perhaps one day we'll use that kind of technology to spread "humanity" to alien worlds.

God have mercy, welcome to the future. The worst - and most necessary - reaction to this is, "We can build a new heart. SHOULD we?"

'Cause I don't think the standard population would get access to this, and I know PLENTY of people who I don't want living 200 years.
