JKF: Although he is eminently capable, I don't believe Mr. Byrne has drawn and had published any part of the original Superman / Spider-Man crossover.

I can't recall any art from the climax to the Master Planner storyline in Spider-Man.

I don't have any more time, but I can't help but think there are some offbeat but still major moments Mr. Byrne might not have done... yet.

I'm going to count the Marvel vs DC poster set as JB drawing the Superman / Spider-Man crossover (since it was published). I might be reaching!

JB it doesn't hurt my feelings at all
about your lack of interest in G.I. Joe.

Now, if you told me you had no interest in
He-Man...

Kidding of course, but a JB drawn He-Man
would be amazing.

WHIPPING BOY is awesome. And there’s a nice little bonus in JBNM, too.

Jack Abel was an odd choice to ink that Hulk cover. His line was very thin, and that piece really cried out for a heavy rendering.

+++++++++++++++++

Maybe a bit of synchronicity since Abel inked the original story.

(I wonder who decided the readers were so dumb they needed a little Paul Smith Wolverine head to tell them who the character was. Big honkin' WOLVERINE in the logo not enough, I guess.)

*****

I too wondered about that little Wolverine head on that cover. Seems really unnecessary. It's not like his original costume is that much different than the one he was wearing at the time.

I bought that Alpha Flight #82 when it came out just for the John Byrne cover. It was so great to see JB drawing the sexiest woman in comics again if only for a single image.
