Who else picked up this set? I've had it for a couple of days now, but haven't had time to put in a disc in yet. Will do so this weekend. All my memories of the show are of a hazy VHS quality, so I'm excited to see it with colors that pop.

Michael, Michael, Michael!

I bought some releases on DVD. And promised myself I wouldn't upgrade and be treated by WB as a "cash cow".

But then you had to go and share that picture. ;-)

I got mine the other day. Looks like the Canadian version doesn't include the digital copy. Beautiful set and the show looks fantastic.

Not yet but, yes, that's where the hate comes in.  I told myself I didn't need this set and then fuck you for posting why I do.

Easy to resist, since I already have the original boxed sets.

I have the box sets but man, the picture quality on those Blu rays looks outstanding.
This, for me, is very hard to resist and I can feel me starting to edge towards getting it

Mr Woodcock, those are my exact thoughts.

I know not what Michael Roberts does for a living, but should WB ever need a door-to-door salesman, to sell Blu-rays, the job should be his!

I wouldn't worry, you didn't miss anything.   The digital versions are 480p and don't include the movies.   Bit of a head-scratcher why they even bothered to do this other than 'free digital copy' advertising blurb.

I'm still debating on getting this though I likely will at some point down the line.   I spent *years* tracking down a legit copy of the complete DVD set (with it's bonus DVD and artbook) -- no easy task since there were about 1000 fakes for every legit copy.

I'm more interested to see what they are going to do with Superman:TAS and Batman Beyond... if they are going to get the same treatment.   I'd buy a Complete DCAU set in a heartbeat.   Bonus, if they actually do a complete release for both Static Shock and Zeta Project in the process.

edit:  I just noticed the set doesn't include MYSTERY OF THE BATWOMAN.   That's an odd omission considering it's supposed to be part of the DCAU canon.

Got the set for Christmas.
My oh my, the picture quality is astounding.

Anybody worried about double dipping? This really is worth it.

Is this seriously out of print already? It's showing as
available only through various Amazon sellers, and no
longer through Amazon directly.

I received this as Christmas gift too. Though I notice mine doesn't have the little figurines or the colour postcards in the pic above.(Maybe a case of the UK version not getting extras again.)

Still the episodes are the main thing, and I am very much enjoying making my way through them. It's been some time since I saw them, and there may even have been some that I missed!

The limited edition set is sold out, but there is a nonlimited standard set without the extras available. It also seems to be currently out of stock, but I believe that is only temporary.

So, I bought the set. For those of you who
are satisfied with your DVD'S, that's your
choice but you are missing out on a
beautiful transfer. ALL the cell dirt is
gone, and the haziness some episodes seem
to have is gone. In its place is a show
that might as well been produced
yesterday. I never thought this show could
look this good. Worth every penny, in my
book.
