Enjoyed the comic and I am sold on the series.  I find it funny that with 10 episodes, it will have produced more chapters than the comic did regular issues.

I'm really looking forward to the Sabrina series, it looks like good fun. The comic was great.

I feel like they could do an Afterlife arc on Riverdale as a Halloween special.

This is not a franchise I have ever "consumed" in any form.

But I do like magical fiction. I am intrigued by this.

I only learnt recently (whilst reading STARBURST) that Sabrina has been around for decades. I always assumed it was a late 90s thing. Or maybe I'm just old.

Sabrina was even on the GROOVY GHOULIES cartoon, if I remember right.

Yeah, I remember the Sabrina cartoon with the Groovy Ghoulies when I was a kid.

Premiers today on Netflix (Oct 26th).  I assume many will be consuming it this weekend. Great cast as well.

I have to say, making all of the main characters on the show Satan worshippers is a bold move.

Especially since this pretty much ensures that it will be protested by:

A) Fundamentalist Christians, and

B) Wiccans who don't like being called devil-worshippers.

On top of that, the subplots with Father Blackwood strike me as a criticism of organized religion with Satanism being used as a metaphor for Catholicism.

Finished the entire first season and enjoyed it. The 70s style horror "vaseline on lens" effects got kind of gimmicky though.

Loved every bit of this. Hoping there will be plenty more in the future.

Life is strange.  Netflix is being sued by the Satanic Temple because of Sabrina.  It claims they are using copyrighted satanic material.

Satan would definitely be an expert in copyright law.

BTW: My wife and I are enjoying the series (it started off kind of lumpy but figured itself out by episode four).  But I have to say: enough with the Gaiman riffs, already - someone just do a Sandman show and be done with it, already.

When I saw it on the show, I thought it was the actual Satanic Temple Baphomet sculpture that they created to protest Ten Commandment monuments on state grounds. The Baphomet design of both statues is based on a 19th century illustration, but having the two kids standing on either side of him seems like a rip-off.

I enjoyed it - my wife wasn't a huge fan.

For those who may not have heard, there's going to be a "holiday special" premiering on Netflix on December 14th, with flashbacks to Sabrina as a child.

I enjoyed the holiday episode, but I felt like it quickly dispensed with many of the cliffhangers from the season 1 finale. It came across as “Nah, we don’t want to bother with these subplots in Season 2 anymore.”

For all her hand-wringing over signing the Book of the Beast, it seemed like nothing had changed in her life other than the Weird Sisters being slightly less antagonistic toward her. Or maybe she’s waiting for the New Year to make her break with the mortal world.

That and her new white hair.  I do love how in the opening credits, they insert a Dan DeCarlo (the master) shot of traditional Sabrina- this time, Sabrina and Santa.

I am glad they are apparently getting rid of the baby plot.  It wouldn't really have worked.

Netflix has already renewed it through season four.
