British show does story about Rosa Parks, a distinct moment in American history.

Isn’t that “cultural appropriation”?

That was my thoughts as well. I think he was a done in one to get the plot moving and facilitate the Doctor getting involved with Rosa Parks.

Greg, also The Master may re-generate as a person of
colour, so changing the future would be a detrimental
step.

On an unrelated note - I'm surprised that three episodes
in (where the characters now all know they're in a time
machine) and no one has demanded they go back and rescue
'Nan' from episode 1.

Jim, maybe that`s a future episode? They have kept their
cards close to their chest`s regarding the series as a
whole, no reveal of episode titles etc.
