I was recently interviewed and filmed for an upcoming episode of Impossible Engineering. I fear it will be an edit of all the "uh's" or just 10 seconds of me pointing at guts of a tunnel boring machine.

About 2 years ago, there was a subway fire in DC. As the local news
reporter at ground level is describing the situation, I could be seen in
the background, on the phone, calling my wife.

As a kid, myself and some friends ended up in a picture on the front page of our local newspaper. As during a particularly harsh winter, a boating pond in the park near us froze over. So this being in the days long before the internet, we decided to have fun by gathering some sticks and playing a makeshift game of ice hockey on the frozen pond.
Ah, The crazy things we did when we were young!

I was on the news back in early June - the house
across the street from mine had been raided for
selling fentenyl (spelling?) laced heroin, as well as
other drug offences and gun possession. They arrested
the mom and her son, who was in California, shipping
pot to her and working on a deal with a cartel!
Did I mention that I live in a "nice" suburb?
I'm about 30 seconds into this clip...I want to
mention that I wasn't really aware that I was being
filmed when I was talking to the reporter...
