Well, that was a foregone conclusion for me, but what's this about time travel?!

I suspect there still will be, for some time to come, those who claim he had a deathbed conversion.

Hawking demonstrated immense strength of character in facing the challenges thrown at him, while still refusing to seek out the crutch known as religion.

I bought a window sticker for my car. It says “THINK! It’s not illegal yet.”

That was me being too chicken to get the one that said “RELIGION. Because thinking is SO hard!”

Yes, Hawking came ‘round on time travel quite a while ago. But he still insisted the energy expenditure would not be practical.

That was you having the presence of mind to ensure that your car wouldn't get baptised with a baseball bat :)

As the news of Professor Hawking's final book breaks around the world, it will be interesting to see the ways in which the faithful dismiss the perfectly logical conclusion of a brilliant mind.

The moment he died the “faithful” rushed to consign him to hellfire and damnation for all eternity.

God is love!

“Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!

But He loves you."
