Where the heck did THIS get stated? The Scarlet Witch is in her 50s too, or did Quicksilver go through some weird superspeed thing where he aged way faster than normal?

Whatever the case, this is just... bad.

Oh, goody, someone trying to age characters realistically again. Maybe.

Did they mistake his silver hair for grey?

My first thought was that this was a product of trying to keep Magneto a holocaust survivor.  Which makes him, what, 84 or so?  So his kids would be in their 50's?

But didn't Marvel retcon them into not being his kids anymore during the whole 'X-Men movie rights issue' period?

My first thought was that he was older due to time dilation from running at high speeds.

Then I realized that it should be the opposite. Going faster should slow down his aging compared to everyone else.

His first appearance was in 1964 so the character is 54 years old.

Is this from the Fox films? He’d be in his 50-60s today, as he was a teen in the 70s. But I think they stopped caring about continuity, as the actors all look the same between movies despite their occurring decades apart.

I'll play Devil's advocate for a moment (but I stress, I have never thought of Quicksilver of being in his fifties).

It can be hard with comics sometimes. Someone asked me how old I thought Professor X was once. I guess, as a youngster, I equated "bald professor" with being in his fifties. That's probably because, as a kid, a lot of teachers were bald and in their fifties (or so it seemed).

But then others in the discussion thought of Xavier as being in his thirties.

Another guy I chatted with thought Reed Richards was in his mid-to-late fifties, but even with a bit of white hair, I thought of him as being in his forties.

Not that any of it matters necessarily, but I suppose I am (badly) making a point about perception.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, weren't Quicksilver, the Scarlet Witch AND Spider-Woman all kept on ice by the High Evolutionary at Wundagore Mountain after they were born? The twins were frozen until he could find suitable parents for them and Spider-Woman until he could cure her of her childhood ailment.

So, technically, all three characters are older than they appear.

And someone better look in on the High Evolutionary and his popsicle orphanage!

As far as I know, Wanda and Pietro weren't on ice or in the High Evolutionary's care for very long.

Please tell me that they are not doing to Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch what they did to Blade.
