Brian H. - Sign me up for a subscription to "Lar and Tasmia - The Shadow of Justice"
Kitty Pryde and Peter Rasputin - this seemed to be set up from day one, and it's about time to follow through with a story set up, I feel.
Rokk Krinn and Lydda Jath - same as Kitty and Peter. From Night Girl's first appearance, she had a crush on Cosmic Boy. Consummate it already.
******** Mon-El and Shadow Lass did get married in the Legion of Super-Heroes vol.3 (Baxter Series) #52. Tasmia married Lar in a Talokian ritual. Also you have in Legion vol.4 #6 (the 5 years gap Legion) that Shadow Lass and Valor leave U.P. space to explore the frontier.
Cosmic Boy and Night Girl did get married as revealed in Legion vol.4 #1 (the 5 years gap Legion).
Only a few months ago, Kitty Pryde rejected Colossus at the altar!!! In their place, we got Rogue married to Gambit! Well although I don't remember what exactly happened with Belladonna, Gambit's wife?

Random thoughts:
* As with any change, our ability to accept it is highly influenced by whether or not it was in place when we started reading (or shortly thereafter).
* The problem I have with "will they or won't they" as a fiction trope is that eventually you need to follow through in some fashion or the methods to keep the "tension" going can start to get ridiculous. Note that this depends on how the situation/series is constructed - the Weisinger period of Superman set up the Superman/Lois situation in a way that could have continued indefinitely. When the series got a bit more "soap opera" post-JB, the stories started to "have" to go somewhere.
* Arguably, Spider-Man is supposed to be "the normal guy" superhero, which means him going through major milestones is part of the DNA. Of course, it's also true they've got a lot of mileage out of his singleness. Unlike most characters, he doesn't necessarily have A One True Love. MJ's the leading contender, but Gwen Stacy is a closer second than normal.
* Along those lines, I think some characters can work just as well or better married than they do single. Others not so much. I didn't like the Green Arrow/Black Canary wedding (characters just never seemed there) and I prefer Wasp single (or at least not with Hank - but she hasn't necessarily had a good replacement suitor), but I have no real objection to, say, Thing and Alicia getting together (assuming they follow through).
* Variety is the spice of life. Powers aside, I think you should have young superheroes, old superheroes, single, married, etc., etc. Cover the spectrum of human experience.

Well, this is about to happen. In this particular case, even though I probably should say "bad idea," I just can't. Sentimentality? Probably.

In my youth, Ben was the character who rivaled Spider-Man as my favorite Marvel superhero. The Fantastic Four remains my favorite superhero (family) team. That said, I don't think Ben marrying Alicia is a story that should be told.

I don't have the kneejerk "no" response on Ben and Alicia that I might have with others, probably because the FF has seen one marriage already (one that's had plenty of drama to boot) and the dynamic is pretty well established there. Ben can still have poker night and go roust the Yancy Street Gang as a married guy, IMHO. It's been a LONG time since he was a misunderstood, tragic figure.

ITEM: I thought that Ben and Alicia were on the outs. Of course, it's been a long time since I read an FF book.... it's been a long time since they PUBLISHED an FF book.
ITEM: Fantastic Four #650? I thought Marvel was starting over with a new FF #1. Although, if you can get both numbers on the cover, then you can REALLY whore your product.
ITEM: I hope they get married under a chupa. Or is Ben no longer Jewish?

Also seems dangerously close to breaking that cardinal rule of :
"DON'T GIMME NO LIPS"

I was a big fan of the Superman/Lois Lane wedding--and still am, but I'm very aware that it has taken away a central conceit of the entire series.

Superman and Lois was a dreary mistake. Ben marrying Alicia is as well, but on a smaller scale. Worse comes to worst, Peter can just give him Mephisto's phone number and the whole thing can be dealt with in a Faustian back-alley procedure. Maybe a Space Phantom can be involved.

Thanks, Brian. With the bad coloring on that piece, it's hard to tell he's wearing a yamulke and talit.*
Because I've been primarily Jewish for 57 years and I've never seen those items quite so... reflective. But hey - except for the lips and the ears, and the suit not actually on his neck, this is the Thing, right?
Whatever. I don't collect anymore, so if it sells - great. But I still think that modern colorists use too many colors. Just because they have 256 million shades doesn't mean they have to use every damned one.
*The yamulke is the prayer cap. The talit is the shawl. A chupa (which I should have mentioned) is effectively a ritual house; usually it's a sheet or table cloth supported by four poles, held up by four people dear to the couple.
