" antithetical to the didactic sentiment "

Lighten up Peter, your posts are becoming like the
Blackadder episode Ink and Incapability! We`re here for
fun not to pick apart people`s threads!

A thread devoted to 'forget what it sounds like, look at how cool it looks'...

***

Nowhere in my original post have I said it's devoted to how cool something looks.

I invited ALL sorts of discussions (remember the requests for people to review equipment). What about the CEO interview? Was that about how cool something looks?

ONE more reminder of my original post:

I'll share links and pics which I think are cool. Be as random as possible if you're interested. If anyone wishes to post (e.g. reviewing a piece of equipment), I thought this'd be a good place. If you spot an interesting guitar and take a photo of it, share it here.

The keyword is *random*. Want to review a tuner? Link to an article about Fender or Martin? Share a pic? If one can have two keywords, the other one is *links*. It doesn't have to be about pics.

I can't get any clearer than my original post.

No, not at all. ;-)

I often, on Facebook, claim to have bought the latest jet or sportscar. "I've ordered mine..." is a phrase people hear from me often.

I'm stupid.

This must be a humourous turn of phrase local to the
U.K.

prohibitively expensive!
