I remember having a hell of a time finding a copy of X-Men #142 on the shelves. No luck in any drug store in my town and even the usual places in Vancouver didn't have it. I finally found a copy at the Vancouver Bus Terminal. I was so excited to finally get to read it.

I came in at 167. My first back issue was X-men 129. Also my first exposure to JBs work. Mind blown. $30 in a lovely mylar  sleeve.  I remember the Alpha Flight issues being the hardest to find in affordable condition.
