John Byrne's art both prompted me to draw as a kid, and dissuade me from trying to do it professionally because I could never be that good.

Each character on this page is perfectly how they should be!

That makes me sad. I knew I could never be as good as Neal Adams or Joe Kubert or Frank Bellamy -- but here I am!

No pressure, but I suspect Absorbing Man is going to look amazing when he's inked.

Just been consuming this piece again with my eyes, and it's so much fun. I can almost hear sound effects!

Wonderful to see, JB!  Brings a bit of additional joy to the start of my week.

Dying to see the finished product.

I am so happy to see the commissions starting again. Is
it just to clean what is already scheduled or should I
contact Jim for a possible one?

And I am going to echo with everybody else. It is a nice
piece in the making. Looking forward to the finished
version.

Hope springs eternal that I'll be able to get a commission someday (he said selfishly).

Nice!

I've been waiting for a commission to pop up for awhile! I haven't contacted Jim since I remember reading to not to do so.  Hope more commissions start coming out, as I've had an idea for my 6th JB commission for quite some time.

Either way, can't wait to see the finished product.
