A DVD pre-order for Season 11, which hasn't even aired yet, is on Amazon.

And there are 'reviews' for it. Good and bad ones.

Come on, Amazon, implement a process whereby reviewers can't leave a review for a product until at least 7 days after it has been released.

Reviews, whether we're talking hotels or Uber, are aggregate. One rude clown can have an issue with a polite taxi driver and down-vote him despite the driver being a good driver. Well, aggregate scorings apply to reviews, too.

There's even one reviewer on Amazon who has criticised negative reviewers for leaving their scores *whilst* leaving a four-star positive review, himself. Can't he see the irony?

The show will air later this year. The DVD will be released soon after. Yet it has 'reviews'. How fucked up.

Amazon should, like I stated, have a proper process in place so that anyone who tries to 'review' something that hasn't aired/been released yet gets a message such as, "Unable to review, this is a pre-order. Please review one week after release date."

It's absurd.

That is deeply absurd, and a little sad.

Also, I wonder why those precognitive reviewers are wasting their time with Amazon reviews! Shouldn't they be using their incredible powers for the good of humanity?

Yes. In among the "looking at lottery numbers", I'd be using such powers wisely.

I feel like e-mailing Amazon and asking them if they have the technology to prevent reviews of products until at least a week after release.

Bit ironic considering it`s about a time traveller!
I must admit i take reviews with a pinch of salt.
Slight drift, but...radio film trailers `Critics say
`film of the year``
My question is, which critics? Name your source.
There was one for Book Club recently `Critics say,
funniest film this year` my response `What? they`ve not
seen Deadpool 2?
