I really enjoyed TNG on the big screen, and am dismayed that NEMESIS (the weakest entry and not enjoyable at all) was the final word for TNG. I'd have rather have had another TNG film - Michael Dorn hinted at in one interview - than the Abrams reboot.

But will it work again? Sometimes, moving forward is more important than looking back.

True but I do not like how Star Trek has been moving forwards in the last couple of years and I strongly feel that it will be the same for the upcoming years.

Maybe Picard-Prime can travel back in time and meet his younger self, played by Tom Hardy...

A Picard-only limited series?  No thanks.

A full-on TNG reunion and proper coda to the series and characters?  Yes please.

TNG was "my" Star Trek, with Picard as my ideal Captain, so I'd always be down for some more of that. As much as I love the whole crew, I think it could be interesting to have a Picard-centric series, set however many years it's been since Nemesis, where he's finally being forced to retire, and is on his last tour of duty with the Enterprise, perhaps with a whole new crew that he's been working with for the past several years, as most of the originals have since been promoted or retired off-ship (sans Beverly, whom he's married to now, and maybe Worf, who is his First Officer, as written in the ST novels).

I`d like to see a continuation of Next Gen, with the
characters as they would be 20+ years after All Good
Things,it would be nice to see where they all ended up,
and who with!

I would also like to see a series set a long time after TNG-DSN-VGR.
Not because I dislike those series, they were the Trek I grew up with after all; but rather because I strongly feel that they can not be continued well by new producers and writers.

A new series set further in the future would give the new production staff some breathing room though I would enjoy if references to events from the older series was made and what their results and consequences were.

I would like it if some tropes from the Star Trek franchise were retired such as constant reuse of these with certain species such as the Klingons and the Romulans. Star Trek should not be about recycling cliches the whole time.

But I do not expect such a series to be made under Kurtzman. My impression of the man is that he is solely about recycling old material from the previous series and movies and have badly conceived new material inserted including retcons.

I would be happy to see Stewart return as Picard in pretty much any capacity.

A full-on TNG reunion, I'm not so sure about. The 1701-D crew got a fine sendoff with "All Good Things...", but their movies were pretty uneven, and Nemesis was dreadful. The characters deserve a better coda than that. In a perfect world--with the whole cast returning, and preferably with a script by Ron Moore and Brannon Braga--I'd love to see them back together.

Jabari, that's a fantastic idea!
