Bought a spinner rack ("Hey, Kids! Comics!") about forty years ago. It's had a proud place in my studio ever since.

JB, how often (if ever) do you change the selection of what's displayed in your spinner rack?

Not very. It's mostly my stuff, so when I have visitors to the Studio I can grab a quick sampling without having to burrow into the storage room in back.

$300 for a comic spinner??  I am surprised they are doing well.  But get that price down to $99 and every pre 1980 fan boy will buy one.

$300 sounds reasonable. I bought mine for $50 circa 1975.

Spinner racks, especially vintage ones, go for a lot of money these days. There is a collector market for the older racks, like the "Hey, kids! Comics!" variety. $300 for a brand new one does seem high.

What do you think about the variants being offered with the rack? Not sure how much that would adjust the price...

I'm just happy to hear we might be seeing more spinner racks in stores again.

I got mine two years ago off of Craigslist for $75. It's not one of the ones that used to be in grocery/drug stores, but the more modern vintage that they had in places like Borders or Waldenbooks. 4 sides, 2 columns of racks on each side.

I've been looking for a deal on one of the vintage racks for a few years now.
Flea markets, garage sales and the like are my search areas. I made a promise to myself not to get it online.
