The man is a complete joke who talks like a toddler.

Yeah, I might have said something like that when I was 5 and awaiting a birthday cake.
For a guy who boasts about his IQ, he sure as hell talks at the level of a nursery child. Lack of syntax, poor grammar, spelling mistakes, etc. Everything is, "Really, really great!" or "This is tremendous, really great, super in fact."
My writing is far from perfect, but I'm not the US president. Anyone who boasts about their IQ better back it up.
Why does any country need a space force, anyway?

It's going to take me some time to collate all the myriad reasons this is a really bad idea.
We could start with the fact there is no one out there to fight?
If the counter-argument is "all the targets are on Earth," then you run into a vast array of orbital dynamics problems that I can go into at dreary length if you like.
I'm sure Trump fancies himself an expert on that too.

I had completely written off UFO's years ago as a bunch of people lying or seeing birds/baloons.
But it was interesting that the military released footage of some strange things they were seeing recently. Way before I would go with aliens, I would say it is secret government craft.
Combine secret government craft with disappearing government funds and it fuels speculation.
Maybe this is their way to make some of the secret stuff more transparent, who knows.
I am wondering how this will affect NASA. And if it will get us into space exploration faster.

Clearly he switched over from FOX News to a re-run of "Independence Day", and his mind started working on a new idea.
The man is just beyond belief.

This has been talked about for a while.
"Defense Secretary Jim Mattis in October of last year wrote a letter to the Senate Armed Services Committee pointing out that he would oppose the creation of what was being called the “Space Corps” at the time. The letter addressed his military budget concerns, as the National Defense Authorization Act had not yet been passed."

I was just thinking that Bruce Willis might be the frontrunner for head of the Space Force, given his very tremendous and important work in Armageddon...but if you're right, Greg, my money is on Bill Pullman.

Ted Downum: If there is room for Bill Pullman, then surely we can get Marc Singer and Jeff Goldblum in there as well!!!

If we're doing sci-fi based projects, I'd much rather start building the giant mecha to protect the west coast from irradiated reptiles and moths. That would be way cooler.

Ah, if Trump pulls it off, he's getting Shatner and Stewart to head his space fleet. Or maybe even a starfleet... "It's going to be incredible. Best idea ever, trust me. You'll see, it will be... no one else will even know about... and then, when we have to see something, they'll know it's the United States space force. No, of COURSE we're not letting them settle here! Those Martians are as bad as Muslims. They even sound like... that is, they're... we'll never take anything. I promise you that. Trust me."
