Do the X-Men have any villains that haven't joined the team at some point?

Aaaah yes.... I remember. In a series called Wolverine and The X-Men?
I think Apocalypse joined the X-Men in the same book...

Brandon, I stopped reading the X-Men a few years ago but I know they had already hired Magneto, Emma Frost, Sabretooth, Juggernaut, Mystique, Rogue, Apocalypse (as a kid) and even Krakoa...
We can nearly say that it stopped being a superhero book at some point...

I don't see the problem, I think he looks awesome. Those eyes and that maw. Looks scary enough.
I don't know too much about the "living island" part, but damn, that's a bad-ass monster. Conan would be happy to have him in one of his books.

I thought you were having some kind of regrets over the design of the character. The what were they thinking question- threw me.
Never mind then.

From a certain, dementedly fannish point-of-view, I can almost see bring Krakoa onto the team as A.) a meta-commentary on the X-Men's ongoing predilection for inviting murderous monsters to come live with them and B.) a meta-joke involving Roy Thomas's "Mutant Blackhawks" having their own mutant "Blackhawk Island" under their feet and on the team.
That said, neither bit of meta-humor is sufficient to justify actually following through on the punchline.

Chrust!
I've searched for Krakoa online. What a mess. Talk about overegging the batter. A 'second' team of X-Men sent after the originals, then Xavier erases all memory of them. Then some villain grows a new Krakoa (Krakoa Jnr?). House of Ideas? More like a Museum of Infamy!

Ugh... I remember now the story about the "second" team of X-Men between the original team and the new team in GIANT-SIZE X-MEN #1. Is that still canon, or did it get ignored eventually?

I don't recall any mention of it since... what, 1999? It's probably all but forgotten.
