Let me add thanks as well.  It's been too long since I enjoyed a comic book this much.

I'll echo the gratitudes, JB, as an 'imaginary story' it certainly ticked all the boxes and any reason to see panel to panel continuity from you is good enough.

I suppose the question now is: Did this exercise achieve its intended goal for YOU?

You rock, JB.
Thanks for the awesomeness.
I now want to learn to draw even more better, and
yesterday bought DRAWING ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BRAIN.
You've always been my inspiration, and I've always wanted
to one day make you proud.
I'll never stop trying to improve because you won't stop,
either.

I just went through the entire story and I realized I can't pick a favorite page because they are all sweet. But I especially like the transmorphing sequences that Sauron and Wolverine go though.

And I love the circular story telling. What a great way to tell a one-off story.

Thanks JB.

What an amazing ride this has been - JB, a thousand thank you’s for sharing this with us.  It’s amazing to see these characters again.  I hope you had as much fun doing this as a lot of us did seeing it all unfold.

Your tribute to Dave Cockrum and Len Wein is pitch perfect - very, very cool.

Wow. Amazing stuff. No one should complain about lack of backgrounds, that is a lot of foliage.
