Curves would definitely be in my top 10.

From Storm in the savage land, to She-Hulk and on...

Hard to nail it down but I know it when I see it.
Sometimes it's a head tilt or body posture. I get the warm and fuzzies whenever I see it.

I think I would have to go with ACTION in the end.

- Powerful punches, blast
- busting through windows
- swinging on a line
- destroying everything around the combatants

I'll just say comic books, because I don't think I'd like him to draw a gun or even a line in the sand as much. :^|

Oh wait, spaceships!

Shiny black rendering. I’ve loved the chief’s technique since back in the Uncanny days, it’s one I’ve tried to emulate for years. There’s some wizardry to getting the hard line versus feathering just right, and JB is the master.

My list is quite long when it comes to favorites things JB draws, but TEXTURES are certainly in my top 5...

I agree with Ms. Jansen. Comic books. Every single element at which he excels are trebled in magnificence when assembled into a story.

He is a master at the whole package - every element of artistry. Others specialize in hands, feet, mouths, buildings, wings, women, trucks, capes, etc. Mr. Byrne puts them into a synergy that is just fantastic.

I would say eyes, they are always expressive and the first thing that drew me to his comics.

I could list a lot of things, but is there really a favorite????? This is hard. I think I like everything but how to some it all up?

Body Language.

It can be a person that is sorrowful, happy, gleeful, imposing, monstrous, horrific, majestic, sneaky, in motion, at rest, etc.; one of JBs strongest skills is his ability to capture all the nuances of body language and express a character's emotional and physical state.
