This one is a bit personal for me. Alpha
Flight is a favorite of mine. Surprisingly
they aren't even keeping it a secret.

BTW, is that creator credit correct?

How very, very lazy of Marvel. Killing a character has actually become mundane, it's done so frequently.

Remember when death in comics used to mean something?

And, no, you're wrong if you think death in comics (at least in regard to the heroes) was always commonplace.

Under Marvel's current rules, that credit is correct. They consider the first person to write, and the first person to draw a particular character to be the "creators". This is how I get credit for Scott Lang, and how, alas, Chris gets credit for all the characters I created but he scripted.

Again? I thought they had all died years ago.

I like how the article casually mentions the resurrection of the Hulk in the same story about Sasquatch dying. It’s a revolving door. Nothing to see here.

You think maybe, just maybe, the issue's description is an attention-grabber, and that maybe it didn't spell out every last plot point of the story?

Andrew, I like that you are a part of this
forum. I realize I am generally not one of
them, but I genuinely appreciate people
who are, the glass is half full, positive.

Many characters have died and found their way back to life, sometimes by writers ignoring that they were killed elsewhere.

They just issued a Sasquatch build-it figure in one of the Marvel Legends sets.

I don't believe that they are planning to bump off Walt Langkowski just yet.

And it really truly sucks that Chris gets credit for your characters because he put a few words in their mouths, JB. Seriously, that policy is an abomination.

I am soooo over Marvel characters dying!!  There is no shock value left at this point.

Off topic, but...when will Marvel realize that Alpha Flight and Moon knight are perfect for their Cinematic Universe??

I haven't read any Marvel books in years (save for anything Alan Davis has his name on), but there's a chance that they're playing with words.

Walter Langkowski may do something that helps Bruce, while damaging himself in the process - like, he's stuck in his Sasquatch form, thus "killing" Walter Langkowski.

Yeah, it's thin, but hey, who knows...

When a writer suggests killing a character, an editor should suggest killing the writer to see if he can come back in 3 years or so.
