The picture is just too big to post here, but here's the link.
So what new shows are people interested in on here?
For me, I'll give NEW AMSTERDAM, FBI, THE ROOKIE (Nathan Fillion!), and maybe the new MAGNUM PI a try.
Edited to make the link active. Also had to change the original link to another one because there was an error connecting to Wordpress~Matt

I may try MAGNUM also.
I see SUPERGIRL is moving to Sunday. I'm not sure if this is a vote of confidence or not. On one hand CW may have faith that SUPERGIRL will help draw viewers to their new original programming day.. On the other hand since viewers are not used to a CW Sunday it may be a sacrificial lamb until that day gets on its feet. Especially the 8pm slot.

The Rookie, maybe. The wife will definitely give Chamed a chance.

So many procedurals! Ugh. More cop shows! More medical dramas! More reboots!
sigh
This is pretty much why my network viewing has gone down in recent years. Not television in general, but from the five networks. I gravitate to cable and streaming to get more and more of my fix. That said, I'll probably check out MURPHY BROWN. Newsroom satire in the "fake news" era should make for some interesting television. Also all-in on THE ALEC BALDWIN SHOW. His podcast "Here's the Thing..." is often a fun, interesting, and enlightening way to spend 40 minutes.

I watched the trailers to MURPHY BROWN and MAGNUM P.I. earlier tonight. I will watch MB. I plan on staying far away from MAGNUM. The spirit and chemistry of the original show is nowhere to be found, and they’ve turned Magnum into Batman. I’m sure we’ll watch the inevitable crossover with HAWAII FIVE-O since that’s one of the wife’s favorite shows (McGarrett is Batman and the Flash in that one) but other than that, I will not watch any of it.

Well, the new season will be beginning soon!
I'm adding one new show to my list above: THE COOL KIDS. I'm not generally a big sitcom fan, but this looks hilarious! And I must admit I am slightly tempted to tune into the first episode or two of THE CONNORS....

I'm with Matt on this. The five networks have become this weird monoculture. The only things I still watch on the networks are The Good Place, AP Bio, and iZombie. And those are all short seasons, and in the case of iZombie, the last season this year. Everything else I watch is 'cable' or streaming (though I have Sling, so really I stream everything).

I see SUPERGIRL is moving to Sunday.I'm not sure if this is a vote of confidence or not.
——-
SUPERGIRL was CW’s second highest rated show in terms of overall viewers after FLASH, and its fourth highest rated show in the 18-49 demo after FLASH, BLACK LIGHTNING, and SUPERNATURAL, ticking slightly above CW’s current “it” show RIVERDALE.
I look at it as the CW expecting SUPERGIRL to anchor a new programming night.

Sunday has largest TV viewership. You put your best shows on Sunday in hopes they attract a bigger audience (X-Files, Mork & Mindy, the Good Wife are a few examples of shows moved to Sunday). Fox and CBS also have the NFL as a lead in so the large audience can be built in (except on the West Coast).
There are 2 key nights in Network TV ad sales, Thursday because movies must advertise their Friday releases so they pay a premium for Thursday placement. And Sunday, because the size of the audience is so much bigger.

Well, with the new season finally beginning, any comments on the few new shows that have popped up already?
For me, I decided to give MANIFEST a try. It's interesting. I don't know if it'll hold me for numerous episodes, but I like the premise. Unfortunately, the first episode had a few issues.... I won't spoil anything just yet, but a few times I was thinking to myself, "huh?". We'll see if this one lasts.

Very few new network series for us. Much more on the cable/streaming front. One show from last season is already a drop for us. Half enjoyed 911 on FOX so decided to give Season 2 a watch to see if it improved. Nope. Implausible, soapy and a procedural, so we're dropping it. Just too many series we want to see that it's not worth wasting time on something like this.

Like Kevin said I like the premise of MANIFEST but I think they're blowing it. Pretty clunky right now.
I gave MAGNUM a watch like I said I would. Other then the goosebumps from the opening theme not much else grabbed me. The characters don't seem to have the charm to ingratiate themselves to me.

I'm with JB. Not much to look forward to other than The Orville coming back. I will give the third season of True Detective on HBO a go though, but I hope it's more like season one and less like season two which was a huge drop in quality and story.

Rest of the new shows I've watched:
NEW AMSTERDAM: Fair. Likable characters, but not quite sure how the show is going to hold up. I'll probably watch the entire year though.
FBI: Typical procedural. The first episode was ok. I'm just not sure if I'll keep watching though. Might give this another 2 episodes to see if it really grabs me, but it's already on the fence.
MAGNUM PI: Nothing to see here. Move on. I think they should have done the premise they had a couple of years ago of it being Magnum's daughter. Fans of the updated Hawaii 5-0 will love it though, but not me.
THE COOL KIDS: So far, the best new show of the year for me. I'm already hooked after the first episode, and I'm not generally a big fan of sitcoms!

I actually watched GOD FRIENDED ME. Mainly because my wife was interested. I was pleasantly surprised by it. Plus having Joe Morton in it is a good thing. It was a good show and the characters are very likable. I'll keep watching for now.

MAGNUM PI is starting to grow on me. I didn't care for the first episode much. I'm glad Higgins is getting more screen time. In the original series, was Higgins always involved in the investigations?
GOD FRIENDED ME didn't sound that interesting to me, but it does pull on the heart strings a bit.
MURPHY BROWN is hard to watch. Candice Bergen's acting style is so stiff.

MANIFEST and SINGLE PARENTS are the only two that are sticking with us right now.
MANIFEST feels LOST-lite, which isn't a bad thing to me, but I think is going to be hampered by being on a network; too many episodes, too much melodrama. We'll stick with it for now.
SINGLE PARENTS is cute and sometimes funny, but a comedy constrained by its premise. By that I mean I find it incredibly hard to believe that these five parents would find a way to so totally integrate themselves into each others lives that they literally do everything together. Short leash. May become just my wife's show.

I enjoyed watching The Rookie. Fillion had his usual funny one liners. Also, I liked that there is more of a supporting cast to focus on.

I love me some Fillion, but I really soured on CASTLE. THE ROOKIE looks to be more of the same; a fish-out-of-water procedural. Not my thing. Hard pass for me.
