Is Cheung doing the interior pencils on that?

He`s certainly doing the interior pencils on the first issue, as far as I can tell :)

I`m unsure if he`s alternating art duties with Jorge Jimenez though?

It`s unclear, from my research. Tho the book is shipping every two weeks,

so maybe two pencillers were required?

Anyhoo - not long to wait, issue one ships June 6th :)

Here`s a link to some nice high quality images of Jim Cheung`s

pencil ,and also inked version ,of the issue # 1 cover...

Ha, it's all good! I tried to find a straight answer about who was doing what but gave up and just went with what I knew :)

Eric: Anyone keeping up with Kick-Ass?  I'm happy to see John Romita Jr's work on a regular basis.  I'm hoping he is still on the DC book Silencer as well.

---

JRJR did the first 3 issues of Silencer -- not the 4th (haven't heard if he's returning or not)

The art in the new Kick-Ass series is really incredible. I completely love it. That said, the story is VERY different than any other Kick-Ass series. Nice to try something new, but the story concepts that made Kick-Ass interesting for me aren't found in this book. I'm really not sure why it's a "Kick-Ass" book at all... so far there's a Kick-Ass costume in the book. That's really the only connection. Feels like it could have been any costume.

I haven't read the 4th issue... maybe that will change my mind?

I agree Nathan. The art is incredible!

The character is really different this time around. More confident and assured in physical "abilities" and started off looking out for self interest.  The self interest has now evolved. It really started to show in, I believe issue 3, when an abused family was featured.

I'm hoping JRJR returns to Silencer.  He was the reason I was picking it up. I think he is only doing the cover for the next issue. Unfortunately, if he is leaving the book, I will stop buying it.

Captain America # 702.

Sorry to see Mark Waid go after next issue. This has been a great run after the last few years of how Steve Rogers / Captain America was presented.
