And they were right on top of my house! Lightning, thunder, rain, hail. Poor Gwynn was scared spitless.

And it sounds like they're not done yet!

Yep, I was caught in the nastiness, soaked even though I was using an umbrella. They are useless when it's raining sideways!

New York rain sometimes feels like it's coming up from the sidewalk!

Here on the South Shore of Long Island, the sky blackened like doomsday but after a brief torrent... not much -- thankfully...!
